I was dianosed with CIDP about 2 years ago. I was really frightened, not knowing what was happening to me and why. I was misdiagnosed and had to go to Syracuse, NY to be diagnosed. They put my in ICU and gave me the IVIG treatments (5 of them) ~ today it is in remission but threatens to come back. When I get upset, my hands will go numb - and all of my teeth will ache!
I have no reflexes. I am trying to find out how many people have CIDP because no doctors seem to know anything about it. I always have to do my own research to see if anything new is happening with this disease and it's treatment.
